Love the Forum Shops, they along with the Miracle Mile Shops & Las Vegas Premium Outlets South (south of the Strip) are my favorite malls in Vegas.

As someone born and raised in the lower mainland my number one piece of advice about visiting vancouver is.... dont do it. There are MUCH nicer parts of BC, check out the sunshine coast, whistler, the okanagan. We have ghost towns, some of the first settlements on the entire west coast like fort langley, and all sorts of fascinating history and natural wonders. Vancouver is a beautiful city but its also currently riddled with open drug use and crime, its incredibly expensive, and theres like 3 fun things to do in the entire city if you're a family lol

Little info on any weed stores on the strip, they have no THC in them. They’re not allowed to sell weed with THC on the strip. Have to go off strip if you want to actually get the “high” feeling. Learned the hard way. Spent $70 on crap that wasn’t even real. Another Vegas scam.

As far as public transit goes, I've heard some locals on Reddit saying it's not terrible now. I'm from Vancouver and visit Calgary often so am used to drug users on public transit; however would like to avoid being robbed. Would a good rule of thumb be to use public transit during the day and take Uber/car sharing at night? Obviously I'd avoid bringing tons of valuables with me. I'll be visiting for the third time in a few months but this will be my first time using the public transit.
